Dear Anna,
Per our telephone conversacion of August 2, 2004, Idaho Power Company is aware of the
unsatisfactory appearance of our landscaping surrouncling the Stoddard Substacion located near the
intersection of Stoddard and Overland Roads. As I mentioned to you, the company is in the process of
correcting the situation. The dead trees should be removed within the next two weeks and new trees
will be planted in the fall when the temperatures moderate, which will improve the new tree's
survivability. Decisions will be made and implemented soon as to the best coITective action to take
with regard to the grasses and ground covers.
I want to assure you that Idaho Power Company is committed to make the site visually pleasing and
compatible with the surrouncling neighborhood.
