Request for aOne-Year Time Extension for Completion and Recording of the
Timberfalls Subdivision No. 2 Final Plat, by Dan Wood (File No. TE-04-003).
We have reviewed the above-referenced submittal and offer the following comments, as
conditions of the applicant. These conditions shall be considered in full, unless expressly
modified or deleted by motion of the Meridian City Council.
APPLICATION SUMMARY & BACKGROUND
The applicant, Dan Wood, has requested approval of a one-year time extension for completion
and recording of the Final Plat for Timberfalls Subdivision No. 2. The applicant states that
construction is almost complete but that there is not enough time to record the final plat within
the one-year time period. The final plat consisted of 19 single-family residential building lots and
3 common lots on 14.31 acres in an R-8 zone.
The Final Plat was approved by City Council on 8/19/03. The applicant has submitted their
request for a time extension within one year of the original approval, as required by MCC 12-3-
8.
LOCATION
The property is located on the south side of E. Ustick Road, approximately % mile east of N.
Meridian Road, in the NE '/4 of Section 6, T.3N. R.1 E.
RECOMMENDATION
Planning and Zoning staff recommends approval of the requested one-year time extension of the
Final Plat for Timberfalls Subdivision No. 2.
