Parking Standards for Dwellings (single-family detached): Number of Bedrooms Required Parking Spaces' (per unit) 1 2 per dwelling unit; at least 1 in an enclosed garage, other space may be enclosed or a minimum 10' x 20' parking pad2 2/3/4 4 per dwelling unit; at least 2 in an enclosed garage, other spaces may be enclosed or a minimum 10' x 20' parking pad2 5+ 6 per dwelling unit; at least 3 in an enclosed garage, other spaces may be enclosed or a minimum 10' x 20' parking pad2 Notes: 'The size of the garage or carport required for dwelling units shall be measured by exterior dimensions & shall be at least 10' x 20' for a 1 space garage or carport and 20' x 20' for a 2 space garage or carport. 2The parkingpad shall be measured from the edge ofsidewalk or edge ofpaved travel lane (public street, private street, or alley) where no sidewalk exists. Fencing (UDC 11-3A-7): All proposed fencing in residential districts shall comply with the following: Maximum fence height allowed 6' Front yard 3' solid or 4' open vision fencing Street side yard 3' solid or 4' open vision fence at the property line or 6' fence set back 10' from property line Rear yard 6' (unless adjacent to interior common area or pathway — see below) Fencing adjacent to interior common lot or pathway (side or rear) 4' solid or 6' open vision fence (6' solid is prohibited) Rear yard fence of alley accessed property & alley side yard properties Open vision fencing set back 5' from property line. Special Requirements: The 20' X 20' parking pads are not required in front of the garages of the alley and mew lots (Lots 2-9, Block 2 & Lots 1-3, 4-7, 9-12 and 13-15, Block 3). Lots 2-6, Block 6 are restricted to single story homes per the approved Findings.
