Zoning Ordinance Amendment for Antennas
Dear Anna,
On behalf of our client, I am requesting an amendment to the zoning ordinance
amendment to allow small antennas to be mounted on existing and new light and power
poles within residential, office, commercial and industrial subdivisions.
Several months ago we visited with the City Council at a pre-council hearing to
determine if what we are now asking for would be appropriate within the City limits, and
while no decision was made at that time, the reaction 1Ì"om Council appeared favorable at
that time. At the hearing we presented scale size models of two antennas that would be
used by our client for wireless Internet connections and they both would be allowed with
the requested modifications.
