Linder ILoad, Meridian, Idaho Dear Wendy: As you know, we ate proposing continued access to the existing farmhouse at Cobblefiekl I from Linder Road. This is a change from the imal plat comments, where access from Linder was to be moved from Linder onto the imerior street ofthe Subdivision. This proposal is based on the unique placement ofthe existing house in relation to the subdivision and Linder Road. As noted during our meetings with the City Council, the access to the existing garage was going to be difficult, gives the relarively close placement ofthe existing house aid Linder Road. We even commented at that lime that the occugaats might only be able to drive a Yugo to access the garage from the tteath, slang the west side of the house. Now that the improvemerrts aze in place, along with the required ibaeing and landscaping, even a Yugo will not be able to access the garage from the north This existing house is fairly unique in its placement on the lot and in relation to Linder Road. It is already close to Linder road, arrd historically had two access poirrts to Linder. Oae of these access points was fairly large to allow access to a machine sloop, farm, sad the house. The residential garage isself had a historic front access from the West. The garage is connected to the rest of the house oa the north and east sides with living areas and an improved fizrit keeping room Access from the interior of the subdivision to the south is not feasible. We took our concerns to ACRD, sad they provided the attached letter, granting a temporary right of way easement, with continued, historic access, but with restrictions. We are in complete agreement with. ACHD's restrictions as set forth in the letter.
