Dear Council Member
I am very much opposed to making the changes to allow what I have been told could be 3 story apartments
behind homes in Locsha Falls Subdivision.
I live in Kelly Creek and when Selway Apartments went in behind the most expensive homes in our
subdivision, at that time $500,00 - when the apartments were approved the owners backing up to the apartments
immediately lost 50 percent of their homes values. They are still not anywhere near what those owners
paid. The apartments back right to the owners backyards, and the top two stories peer right into the windows
and backyards of the homes.
Please use your voices to protect the hardworking citizens of Meridian.
There are plenty of other places to build apartments - ideally not quite so close to an owners backyard.
