I am writing regarding the proposed zoning change for the property next to Challenger school on Chinden near Linder. I am opposed to allowing the re -zoning of this property to allow multi -family housing or apartments. This area, and that intersection in particular, is already going to be highly congested with traffic because of all of the commercial developments being built. To add another area where people are going to be living in high density will exacerbate the problem. Not to mention, that our schools in this area are already over -crowded so to introduce more children along with the other areas of regular housing that are being built does not seem like it is in the best interest of our students at all. There are already several developments if apartments and town homes that have been built in this area that should accommodate for the need. Others do not need to be added. A 10-year plan was already approved for this area. To change it after citizens have already bought homes based on that 10-year plan is not appropriate at all, as it will negatively affect our property values, our students, and our quality of life. Thank you for your consideration. Angie Stiles 2068 W. Ditch Creek Dr. Meridian, Idaho 83646 208-895-0655
