Dear Mr. Bell: Your email has been received by the Mayor's Office. We appreciate you contacting us to let us know of your concerns for the proposed changes to the development plan for the Knighthill project. I will forward your comments to our City Clerk for the record and to be included in the packet the Mayor and Council members receive for the public hearing. Once an application is made, Mayor and Council are only able to make comments during the public hearing. I have copied Josh Beach, the staff member assigned to this project. He will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding the Modification of the Development Agreement or the process. Thank you for your comments and being part of the public process. My name is David Bell and I live in the Lochsa Falls subdivision at 2161 W Tango Creek Dr. We purchased our home here about 7 years ago. We were nearing retirement and this home was a good investment for us if we needed extra funds in retirement. With the commercial developments that are now being built and the LDS temple in close proximity, the home prices in this area are finally beginning to rise some. When we purchased our property there was not anything zoned for multi -family apartments in this area. Rezoning the property next to Challenger school, will have a huge negative affect on that school and the property values in the Lochsa Falls Subdivision. I am all for making changes if the changes benefit the general population of an area. This change does not benefit anyone but the developer of the property and maybe the city with some more taxes. In this case we need to stay with the 10 year plan. Thank you David Bell This email has been sent from a virus -free computer protected by Avast. www.avast.com
