We appreciate you contacting us to let us know of your concerns for the proposed changes to development agreement for the Knighthill project. I will forward your comments to our City Clerk for the record and to be included in the packet the Mayor and Council members receive for the public hearing. Once an application is made, the Mayor and Council can only make comments during the public hearing process. I have copied Josh Beach, the staff member assigned to this project. He will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding the Modification of the Development Agreement or the hearing. Thank you for your comments and being part of the public process. My Best, Mayor Tammy Sent from my iPhone On Feb 27, 2016, at 6:37 PM, amy brown < aebrown3559@gmail.com > wrote: Hello- 2 I am a homeowner located in Lochsa Falls Subdivision near the corner of Chinden and Linder in Meridian, ID. I am writing today to dissuade you from putting in apartments or re-zoning from commercial property to residential. As a homeowner, we have multiple concerns as to what this would do to our community. Presently we have added several apartments in this area so when is enough- enough!! We are seeing overcrowding in our schools let me add in our brand new schools. This increase pressure seems to be negatively impacting our society. I see several new commercial development's in our area that are truly prospering such as Homestead Bar & Grill and Ruddy's these places are packed including Sonic and these bring jobs for our teenager's which we all know will help make them great contributors to our society. It seems to me leaving this as commercial property will help decrease crime rates and help our community prosperous instead of creating additional burden on the taxpayers, schools, and community. Please Vote "No" on this rezone and look forward to seeing you March 1st to hear that! Sincerely, Amy Brown 2334 W Root Creek St Meridian, ID 83646 208-794-1429
