Proposal -Public Hearing
The public hearing for the Trunk Line Water 8 Sewer Assessment, Connection and
Miscellaneous Fee Proposal is screduled for thnght.
The Build~g Contractors Association -Developers Council allowed me to present this matter
to them at their May 17 meeting. At that meeting they requested that we continue the June 8
public hearing to allow them more time to review the proposal and assocated ordinance
revisions. I agree that more time is needed forthem to reviewthis significant proposal.
Four members of the Developers Council volunteered to assist me es we, hopefully, move
toward implementation of the fee proposal. While we have not yet met as a group, I
anticpate that we will get together in the ceming weeks.
Additionally, the Builders Council of the BCA requested that I make the same presentaation to
them on June 8 so that their group can also provide feedback.
In order to allow adequate time for these two groups, who meet onty monthly, to review these
proposals, I ask the tonight's public hearing be k~ntinued fA July B.
