In reference to the application of Packard Estates bevelopment, LLC to be
considered at the public hearing on 18 May 2009, I recommend disapproval
of the variance request for a reduction to the front setback to 13.55 feet
for the existing house on Lot 21, Block 5 for proposed Packard Acres
Subdivision No. 3. This home is already not in compliance with the CC6 R's
for the subdivision. The only reason a variance is being requested is
because the owner is one of the developers (Craig Grovesl. The developer,
as all home owners in Packard Estates, should be requited to comply with
the CC&R's. If he lived in the sub-division, I'm suze he would not
approve of this home on lot 21, Block 5 and certainly would not be
requesting a variance. Th1a home should be removed. Thank you for your
consideration on this matter.
