The owner of this zoned R-4 property wants to decrease the number of apartments from 76 to 64 — hasn't he been listening to what the surrounding neighborhood homeowners have been saying? The homeowners have been saying 'No Apartments!' The homeowners in Sutherland Farm, Sutherland Downs, Muir Woods and Thousand Springs, had the reasonable expectation when they purchased their homes, that the surrounding areas would be developed in a manner that would enhance the livability and property value of their investment. And, the owner of the proposed project has the reasonable expectation to develop his property. He knew it was zoned R-4 when he purchased the property. Just like the homeowners in the surrounding neighborhoods knew the zoning of their property when they purchased. And, the owners of surrounding properties have the reasonable expectation that other property owners will not develop or maintain their property in a manner that decreases their livability or property value. It is reasonable for surrounding homeowners to expect the Meridian Planning and Zoning to conduct themselves in a manner that is best for the community, not just one developer. Please, no apartments on Easy Jet, and, keep the proposed project zoning at R-4. Ms. Hill, I would again, like to voice my opinion about the proposed apartment complex on Easy Jet St. and Eagle Rd. see the developer is changing plans for three story apartments now and reducing the units. My biggest objection is it doesn't conform with the surrounding area. we are located in a upper neighborhood that is comprised of patio homes, and nice homes. There are may other considerations about additional traffic and use of amenities the residents will surely use if this is built in the way it's proposed. Thank you Gary Lee resident of Sutherland Downs
