RE: Mussed Corner Subdivision, Annexation, PD, and Rezone Requests
Dear Mayor and Council,
Please continue the public hearings for the Mussed Corner Subdivision Annexation, Rezone, and Plamted
lleveiopment. We are asking for the continuance in order [o hear back from ITD on whether or not we
will be granted access onto SH69 (Kona-Meridian Road). Access to this site is oY'major importance and
we want fo make sure that the issue is resolved before we are in front of you to request approval of the
project. The Commission felt that this was a major issue and we agree.
We have been waiting for over a month for ITD to respond to our tratric study and request for access
onto SH69 (Kona-Meridian Road). We met with them last week io determine the delay in our request and
it turns out that they (ITD) had the application, but it had been sitting on a desk waiting for a signature
before they would process it. Unfortunately, the person who needed to sign ii was nut notified that they
needed to sign it, so it sat on a desk until we called to find art why we had not heard anything. This issue
has been resolved and the permit is now being processed 6}~ 17D.
We feel tltal ITb will have au answer for us in less than a montli, but we want to give ourselves sonic
flexibility, therefore we would ask that you continue the public hearings for one month. We appreciate
your help in this matter and we look. fotivard to-meeting with you to discuss the proposed development
with you in the future.
