SUBJECT: Storm Drain Completion Letter for
JACKSONS STORE #56 – PARKING EXPANSION
66 E. State Ave
Meridian, Idaho
Dear Mr. O'Brien:
The purpose of this letter is to document that the constr uction of the storm drain system for the
Jacksons Store #56 – Parking Expansion project located at 66 E. State Ave in Meridian, Idaho appears
have been completed in substantial conformance with the project plans prepared by Aspen Engineers
and approved by the City of Meridian.
We visited the site several times in between July 14, 2015 to July 15, 2015 to observe the excavation
and construction of the seepage bed on the site. Test holes were dug to verify the separation between
the bottom of the bed and groundwater, and to verify the bottom of the excavation was into
drainable material.
Most recently I visited the site on Friday, August 7, 2015 and observed that site paving was complete.
To best the best of our knowledge the storm drain for this project appears to have been constructed
in substantial accordance with approved plans and should function as intended.
Please note that I do not have any objection to concrete collars not being installed around the
manholes.
