The City of Meridian recommends installation of 3 - Type 1 streetlights per the Improvement Standards
for Street Lighting, along Chinden Boulevard.
The developer will need to complete and submit the ITD Right of Way Encroachment Application and
Permit and the lighting must be installed so as not to be in conflict with the ITD future ROW expansion.
Please contact ITD for particulars regarding placement of the streetlights to meet that placement
requirement.
Please submit a street lighting plan to me for approval once the above design items are worked out.
The City of Meridian will maintain the lights and pay for the electrical usage provided the standard
Type I lighting is installed and approved per the above requirements.
