Is it acceptable to eliminate the south 6" water line & tap, and combine the two shown fire
lines into 1 by upsizing the line? Please see proposed sizing & routing on attached drawing.

The original proposal included the 6" dedicated fire sprinkler service from the hot tap to the building. We offer the following additional
work proposal to include the value engineering that was previously described, to combine the Fire Sprinkler Service and the Fire Hydrant
Services. We will provide an 8x12 hot tap at the water main, extend an 8" fixe service to an 8x6x6 tee, install (2) 6" gate valves, a 6" fire
sprinkler service into the building and extend to a new fire hydrant located in the planter, as shown. All excavation, bedding, backfill,
compaction, and haul -off will be provided by others.
This proposal breaks down as follows:
Services complete as described above..............................................$11,575.00
Deduct Fire Sprinkler Service previously included ............. _................($4.300.00)
The total additional amount as described above is.................................$7,275.00

The deduction for not installing the fire line is as follows
1. Deduct labor $1269.00
