Bid for Brighton Corp. to provide street lighting for the Hill's Century Farm #1 Subdivision
located in Meridian, Idaho. This quote is per the requirements preliminarily approved by the
City of Meridian street light department. Scope of work to include the following:
(1) Provide and install (4 ea.) Type I City of Meridian street lights, consisting of 30 ft. anchor
base galvanized round poles with 8 ft. cobra arms and 250 watt high pressure sodium
fixtures. These poles will be mounted on reinforced concrete bases poured flush with the
ground. These poles are for the E. Taconic Dr. frontage and the entry off S. Eagle Rd.
(2) Provide and install (15 ea.) Type Il City of Meridian street lights, consisting of 25 ft.
anchor base 4" x 4" square steel bronze poles, fitted with 100 watt high pressure sodium
shoebox type light fixtures. These poles will be mounted on reinforced concrete bases
poured flush with the ground. They will be for the interior of the subdivision.
(3) Provide City of Meridian specification dual metered cabinet for the Taconic Dr. poles,
consisting of cabinet mounted on concrete base with main bkr., circuit bkrs., def. purp.
lighting contactors, bypass switch, and photo control. Includes a 2" pvc conduit between
the cabinet and the nearest Idaho Power junction box (approx. 80 ft.) for service entrance
conduit. Service entrance conductors to be pulled in by Idaho Power, not a part of this
contract.
(4) Provide fourteen non -metered ground junction box services.
(5) Provide approximately 1608 ft. of trench, conduit, wire, and backfill to tie these street
lights to the Idaho Power source.
(6) Provide City of Meridian electrical permit.

General Notes:
• Elite Vinyl, LLC is licensed and insured
• It is the responsibility of the customer to identify and assure proper location, such as:
property boundaries, specific locations of utilities, etc. for installation. For the purpose of
this quote, it is assumed that all underground utilities and sprinkler systems will not
interfere with installation. Any damage to sprinkler systems shall be the responsibility of
the customer to arrange repairs. Any associated cost due to the damaged sprinkler system
or water lines shall not be the responsibility of Elite Vinyl. Should interference occur
with underground lines, extra costs associated therewith will be the responsibility of the
customer.
• Elite Vinyl will not be responsible for settling where trenches or foundations have
been excavated and the replacement soil has not been adequately compacted
• It is the customer's responsibility to obtain any necessary permits
• Gate prices are in addition to the total linear fence line of the entire project. The gate
prices on the estimate have already discounted the amount the customer pays for the
linear footage where the gates will be located.
NOTE 1: A disclaimer is added to this quote regarding the drilling of holes since the. exact soil
conditions are unknown at this time. In the event that lava rock, river rock, or other unusual
circumstances axe encountered. which cause an unusual amount of labor and equipment time, it shall
be the responsibility of the customer to reimburse Elite Vinyl for the additional costs.
NOTE 2: Ground should be kept dry in order to prevent damage due to sinking of the equipment
into the ground.
The schedule for installation shall be agreed to between the two parties upon entering into a
Purchase Agreement.

WARRANTY
Eagle Landscape provides a one-year warranty on all workmanship. One year or one replacement warranty on all plant material. Perennials are warranted for
90 days and annuals have no warranty. There is nowarranty for transplanted material. There is no. warranty against loss due to lack of improper maintenance.
There is no plant warranty for plantings not watered with an automatic irrigation system. Examples of lack of proper maintenance include- over or under -
watering plant material, fertilizer or chemical damage, insects or diseases acquired after the first 30 days of project completion, vandalism, unusual weather
conditions. Hydro seed carries no warranty. No warranty is. provided on accounts that are not paid in full.

Bruce,
I've reviewed the surety application for Planning approval and found there are no bids for the street buffer landscaping,
fencing (open vision metal) and pathway/sidewalk along Eagle & Taconic. (The bid is not required to include the trees
and parkway strip in front of building lots.) Unless these items have already been installed, bids need to be submitted.
