In response to your request for zoning verification for the property located at 5183 N Dove Ridge
Place, please note the following:
• This property is located within the corporate boundaries of the City of Meridian and is
currently zoned R-8, medium -density residential.
• Be Well Sober Housing can offer housing if operated as a "family" under such definition
in the Unified Development Code (UDC). A family is, in part, defined by city code as:
B. A group of not more than ten (10) persons who need not be related by blood or
marriage living together in a dwelling unit.
• The zoning verification request letter states that no staff will be on site. This type of use
is allowed, with no staff on site, per city code provided that the number of beds does not
exceed ten (10) as referenced above.
• Documents regarding the subject property are available through a records request at the
Meridian City Clerk's Office.
Staff s failure to cite specific provisions of the Unified Development Code, or existing
conditions of approval associated with the subject property, does not relieve the Applicant of
responsibility for compliance.

Be Well Sober Housing
5183 Dove Ridge, Meridian ID 83646
Be well housing offers transitional housing to those who are in transition in
life to help themselves recover from unfortunate circumstances in their lives.
We offer housing and resource guides to community help that helps get
people back on their feet in life.
We provide a safe and sober house with guidelines and rules to help build
good character, integrity and morals into the lives of those who might have
been off course in life.
Currently there are total of 10 bed in the facility, and we need the letter to
explain our operation are approve by the city, and we didn't violate any city
code, and with only 10 beds we didn't needed a permit for our facility. CAA, we -
