Pursuant to the
MASTER AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
BETWEEN
CITY OF MERIDIAN (OWNER) AND CH2M HILL ENGINEERS, INC (ENGINEER)
This Task Order is made this &g day of November, 2014 and entered into by and between
the City of Meridian, a municipal corporation organized under the laws of the State of Idaho,
hereinafter referred to as "City", and accepted by CH2M HILL ENGINEERS, INC, hereinafter
referred to as "Engineer" pursuant to the mutual promises, covenant and conditions contained
in the Master Agreement (Category 7a) between the above mentioned parties dated
September 18, 2012. The Project Name for this Task Order 10521.b is as follows:

PROJECT UNDERSTANDING
Five of the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant Control System PLC's will no longer be
supported by the manufacturer within 5 years. The City intends to replace the hardware and
software associated with these PLC's by October 2016. This project will plan the work to be
completed by October 2016. The following Scope of Work describes the services that will be
provided by the ENGINEER.
SCOPE OF WORK
Project Management
The purpose of this task is to manage, coordinate and lead CH2M HILL Team's activities and
perform administration of the project execution and quality reviews. CH2M HILL will provide
the resources necessary for project initiation and management throughout the project.
Activities include contract administration, project accounting, Health &Safety Plan preparation,
project documentation, monitoring progress, change management, periodic invoicing, and
closeout and archiving. The effort associated with these functions is based on an eight (8)
week duration from City -issued notice -to -proceed for completion of the tasks described herein.

Task 1 - Planning
ENGINEER shall provide the following services:
• Review PLC2, PLC3, PLC4, & PLC5 installations and programs
• Provide budgetary cost estimate to replace each PLC.
• Review with owner upcoming capital projects such as Headworks and LIV upgrades that
may impact the replacement of the listed PLCs. Incorporate impacts with overall SCADA
upgrade planning.
Deliverables
• PLC replacement sequence Technical Memorandum including:
o Order and timing of replacements
o Impacts with capital projects
o Budgetary Cost Estimate for each PLC replacement
REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES
Task 1
• The estimated expenses for the base scope are based on the following:
o Travel —Airline: None
o Travel —Rental Cars: None
o Travel —Lodging: 1 night
o Travel — Meals: 1 day
ASSUMPTIONS
• No programming is required or included in this scope of work.
• Travel to site will be coordinated with other project schedules. Airline and rental car
expenses will be covered by other projects.

TIME OF COMPLETION and COMPENSATION SCHEDULE
The following schedule is based on a Notice to Proceed (NTP) from the City in November 2014
and resulting in task order completion by December 30, 2014. An NTP issued on a different
date will change the schedule accordingly.

The estimated travel expenses are based on the information provided under paragraph
Reimbursable Expenses above.
The Not -To -Exceed amount to complete all services listed above for this Task Order No.
10521.b is eight thousand, four hundred twenty dollars ($8,420.00). No compensation will be
paid over the Not -to -Exceed amount for the services listed above. No compensation will be
paid for additional services without prior written approval by the City in the form of a Change
Order. The hourly rates for services and direct expenses shall be billed per the approved Rate
Schedule and Master Agreement (by this reference made a part hereof) and will be the basis
for any additions and/or deletions in services rendered. Travel and meals are excluded from
this Task Order unless explicitly listed in the Scope of Services AND Payment Schedule.
