HomeMy WebLinkAboutExecuted Task Order 10417.H Bowen Collins - Well 15 Well 18 Well 26 Controls EngineeringTASK ORDER NO. 10417.H Pursuant to the MASTER AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES BETWEEN CITY OF MERIDIAN (OWNER) AND BOWEN COLLINS & ASSOCIATES (ENGINEER) day of February, 2015 and entered into by and between This Task Order is made this X t--, the City of Meridian, a municipal corporation organized under the laws of the State of Idaho, hereinafter referred to as "City", and accepted by BOWEN COLLINS & ASSOCIATES, hereinafter referred to as "Engineer" pursuant to the mutual promises, covenant and conditions contained in the Master Agreement between the above mentioned parties dated July 2, 2014. The Project Name for this Task Order 10417.1-1 is as follows: CITY OF MERIDIAN CONTROLS ENGINEERING - Well 15, Well 18, and Well 26 Control System Upgrades SCOPE OF WORK Our scope is to provide control panel design services to replace the existing SCADA PACK PLC's at the following sites; Well 15, Well 18 and Well 26. The control panel will be designed to utilize existing instrumentation and provide spare 1/0 for future use. Task 1 - Design Services • Site survey to identify existing 1/0. • Develop 1/0 list for current and future needs. • Provide control panel drawings suitable for construction. • Facilitate for the addition of a new LMI Brand Pump, G Series Model D728 • Provide bid documents (specifications as needed and bid schedule). Deliverables • 90% review documents. • 100% Construction documents incorporating review comments. Task Order 10417.1-1 Controls Engineering - Well 15, Well 18, and Well 28 control system upgrades Paye 1 of 2 BOWEN COLUNS ASSUMPTIONS While preparing our scope of services and fee estimate, we have made the following assumptions: • The remote site communication will utilize the GE MDS 900Mhz radio network. • On Site verification of the radio path study would not be required. • All programming and 1/0 loop checks are not included. • All startup services are not included. The following schedule is based on a Notice to Proceed (NTP) from the City by February 10, 2015 and resulting in Final Design completed by April 30, 2015. A NTP issued on a different date will change the schedule accordingly. COMPENSATION AND COMPLETION SCHEDULE Task Description Due Date Compensation 1 Design Services • 4/30/2015 $24,900 TASK ORDER TOTAL $24,900 The Not -To -Exceed amount to complete all services listed above for this Task Order No. 10417.1-1 is twenty four thousand nine hundred dollars ($24,900). No compensation will be paid over the Not -to -Exceed amount without prior written approval by the City in the form of a Change Order. The hourly rates for services and direct expenses shall be billed per the approved Rate Schedule and Master Agreement (by this reference made a part hereof) and will be the basis for any additions and/or deletions in services rendered. Travel and meals are excluded from this Task Order unless explicitly listed in the Scope of Services AND Payment Schedule.
