SUBJECT: Storm Drain Completion Letter for
McLINDER SUBDIVISION NO. 1 (SAWTOOTH VILLAGE)
4650 N. Linder Rd and 1437 W. McMillan Rd, Meridian, Idaho
Dear Mr. O'Brien:
The purpose of this letter is to document that the construction of the private storm drain system for
the McLinder Subdivision No. 1 / Sawtooth Village project located at 4650 N. Linder Rd and 1434 W.
McMillan Rd in Meridian, Idaho appears have been completed in substantial conformance with the
project plans prepared by Aspen Engineers and approved by the City of Meridian.
We visited the site numerous times in July and August 2014 to observe the excavation and
construction of the seepage beds on site. The material at the bottom of several of the bed was slightly
cemented, so we had the Contractor overexcavate to construct infiltration windows in this beds and
scarify the bottom of the excavation to get to better draining material.
I recently visited the site observed that site paving and storm drain construction was complete.
Therefore to best the best of my knowledge the sand and grease traps and seepage beds all appear to
have been constructed in accordance with approved plans and should function as intended. I have
enclosed three copies of the record drawings for the sewer and water mains and the CDs for the City
