RE: March 3, 2015 Public Hearing - Granton Square Subdivision
Good morning, I am submitting my comments in advance of the March 3 public hearing regarding to the
pending development of the Granton Square Subdivision (AZ 14-015) off of Locust Grove.
My concerns are simple and have basically been shared with the Meridian Planning & Zoning Commission and
with representatives of the developers.
1) I am agreeable to the developer's proposed suggestion for the careful removal of my fence for the installation
of a quality vinyl privacy fence at the expense of the developer.
2) I'd like to reiterate my concern about the hours/days of construction during the development stage. My
concern is that construction not exceed reasonable daylight work hours and if at all possible, at least one day
(possibly Sunday) that work and noise be kept to a minimum or halted.
3) Many of the existing homes are single -level structures, and I know some have expressed concern about
privacy with the development of multiple level homes. Although I share this concern, I understand the interests
of the developer for marketable homes. If a single -level home could be considered behind my house, that would
be very much appreciated.
Thank you in advance for taking my comments.
Best regards,
John H. Redding
