Broadway Ave Meridian, ID 83642 Phone: (208) 888-4433 x 417 Fax: (208) 887-4813 This Task Order is issued by City and accepted by the Engineer pursuant to the mutual promises, covenant and conditions contained in the Master Agreement between the above mentioned parties dated April 13, 2010. TREMONT LIFT STATION ABANDONMENT SCOPE OF SERVICES SECTION 1 - PROJECT UNDERSTANDING The recent construction of an 8" gravity sewer line to the west of the Tremont Lift Station allows the lift station's service area to flow by gravity into the Ten Mile Trunk. The City intends to permanently abandon the lift station and associated piping. SECTION 2 — CITY RESPONSIBILITIES 2.1 Provide ongoing review of J -U -B's work and timely consideration of policy issues at a time acceptable to both the City and J -U -B. 2.2 Pay for all legal advertisements for bids. 2.3 Pay for all necessary permitting fees. 2.4 Provide record drawings of the Tremont Lift Station, associated force main, and influent gravity lines. 2.5 Provide all front-end documents required by the City Purchasing Department. SECTION 3 - SCOPE OF SERVICES TO BE COMPLETED BY J -U -B J -U -B shall furnish services specifically limited to the following and described herein on a not to exceed basis for each task. 3.1 PROJECT ADMINSTRATION & MEETINGS 3.1.1 Project Administration and Meetings: Project administration will include coordination with the City's project manager, status updates and related administrative duties. J -U -B will attend a review meeting with the City project manager to review the project deliverables. . 3.2 DESIGN SERVICES 3.2.1 Prepare one(i) plan sheet to depict the abandonment, an which is anticipated to include vicinity map, digitized site photos with construction notes, and specialty details. 3.2.2 Project technical specifications will be prepared using the latest version of the ISPWC and applicable City of Meridian Standards, 3.2.3 A bid schedule will be also be developed, approved by the City and included in the Bid Documents. 3.2.4 A senior engineer will perform an independent QC review of the bid package. 3.2.5 An opinion of probable construction costs will be developed and provided to the City. 3.2.6 Deliverables will be provided in hard copy and pdf format, and will include: 1. Site plan developed using digitized photos 2. Technical specifications using 2010 ISPWC format. Special provisions shall be prepared for specialties not included in the ISPWC. Existing record drawing information may be included in the technical specification Appendix. TIME OF PERFORMANCE Task 3.1 and 3.2 — Technical Specifications - Shall be completed within 30 calendar days of Notice to Proceed.
