Under the
MASTER AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
BETWEEN
CITY OF MERIDIAN (OWNER) AND CH2MHILL (ENGINEER)
This Task Order is issued by Owner and accepted by the Engineer pursuant to the mutual
promises, covenant and conditions contained in the Master Agreement between the above named
parties dated April 13, 2010.

RAS Chlorination System Optimization
PURPOSE
This task order is developed for CH2M HILL to provide operator training on topics related to the
operation of the Meridian Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). CH2M HILL will work with the
WWTP Superintendent to determine the topics to present to the operations staff.
CH2M HILL will provide the following services as part of this task:
• Design improvements to the existing RAS chlorination system
• Provide recommended operational parameters for the optimized RAS chlorination system
• Provide assistance during the installation of RAS chlorination system improvements (by
others).
A technical memorandum will be provided as the deliverable for this task, including the following:
• Schematic of the recommended RAS chlorination system improvements
• Recommended instrumentation (model and type)
• Recommended operational parameters
The Anticipated Project Schedule:
• Draft Technical Memorandum — completed within 21 days of notice to proceed
Final Technical Memorandum — completed within 15 days of receiving City comments
COMPENSATION
The Not -To -Exceed amount for this Task Order No. 10258 is ten thousand dollars ($10,000). The
hourly rates for services and direct expenses are per the Master Service Agreement.
Costs will be billed for actual time services are rendered up to the Not -to -Exceed amount. No
compensation will be paid over the Not -to -Exceed amount without prior written approval by the City

in the form of a Change Order. Billing will be through a purchase order (PO) with the Wastewater
Treatment Plant Operations for consulting services.
