Attached above is the latest in our series of draft composite diagrams for the well data base project. b. We have now completed 26 of 31 composites and those have been forwarded and stamped DRAFT as they have been completed. c. Keep in mind that we have four more composites to do than when we started the project and we have had to construct two additional composites for the two reconstructed wells (#14 and #17) that were also unplanned. 2) CURRENT BUDGET SYNOPSIS: a. There are approximately $3,300 remaining in project funds by my accounting. b. On average, each composite diagram costs about $ 1,200. c. Therefore there are enough dollars remaining to complete 3 of the five remaining composites. 3) ESTIMATED WORK/COSTS REMAINING: a. Complete the remaining five composites ($6,000). b. Ed to review all 31 one last time for typos, errors, and consistency throughout and to incorporate all that we have learned in the hydroframework study ($2,000). c. Final edits and drafting of hydroframework changes, remove DRAFT watermark and scan to digital file ($2,500). d. Materials including archival quality paper (tear resistant and able to sustain a lifetime of bending), discs, slipcases, binding, covers, tabs, etc. ($ 200). e. Print, fold, compile, collate, bind, create CD, install sturdy tabs, etc. ($2,000). f. Develop Overview/Introduction text section and create high-quality reference maps and aerial photo ($1,000). g. Total funds needed to finish project — $ 13,700 minus $3300 remaining? + $10,500. 4) REASONS BEHIND THE OVERAGE: a. Addition of four new wells. b. Reconstruction of two wells. c. More difficulty in extracting data from archived files going back 20 years than anticipated. d. More information afforded by ongoing studies over the course of the project. 1/14/2011
