Broadway Ave Meridian, ID 83642 Phone: (208) 888-4433 x 417 Fax: (208) 887-4813 This Task Order is issued by City and accepted by the Engineer pursuant to the mutual promises, covenant and conditions contained in the Master Agreement between the above mentioned parties dated April 13, 2010. SEWER MASTER PLAN — TRAINING ASSISTANCE SCOPE OF SERVICES TO BE COMPLETED BY J -U -B SECTION 1 - PROJECT UNDERSTANDING The City Public Works Department intends to internally manage the sewer master plan software models developed in the 2010 Sewer Master Plan. This will include various tasks broadly outlined below: ✓ Existing System/Committed Service Area Model: Continued updating of the collection system components as the system is expanded and as additional information is developed such as: 1) collection system record drawing information; linking updated water meter data; manhole and sewer line numbering systems; service area adjustments; land use modifications; .:� Updating collection system condition information linked though the City's on-going asset management program; v Calibration with updated infiltration and inflow monitoring; o Analysis of the existing system impacts to serving proposed annexations; o Software update implementation; o Inter -department protocol revisions; o GIS department interface ✓ Master Plan Model: o Master trunk line analysis, re-routing proposals from future project; * Service area, land use and demographic revisions. SECTION 2 - SCOPE OF SERVICES TO BE COMPLETED BY J -U -B J -U -B shall furnish services specifically limited to the following and described herein on a not to exceed basis for each task. 2.1 TRAINING J -U -B shall provide training on an as needed basis to City staff. J -U -B staff who were involved with the 2010 Sewer Master Plan Update are intended to complete the training. Training topics will likely cover the topics listed above or any special topic items or assistance with questions or processes. TIME OF PERFORMANCE J -U -B staff will respond to the City's request in a mutually agreeable manner. COMPENSATION Training will be at the sole discretion of the City. As the City staff becomes more familiar with the model, the level of training will diminish. The CITY will pay ENGINEER for its services and reimbursable expenses on a not to exceed basis as follows: 1) Assumed Traininq Schedule and Reserve Budget: a. Initial Model Rollout 2 months): Estimated fee amount of 2000.00: Assumptions One (1) training session per week of 2 hours for a total of 8 hours per month of design engineer, estimate 2 hours per month Project Manager. b. On-call 4 months Estimated fee amount $2000.00. Assumptions: J -U -B shall provide training or assistance with uestions as they arise.
