I am not however involved with active development and do not know which project you are referring too. I've passed this along to the City's Current Planners and asked the person you spoke with, to please follow-up. If you do not hear back from anyone, please let me know. Do you think you maybe spoke with Bill Parsons, instead of me? City Council is by the way not meeting tonight due to elections, and will instead be on Wednesday evening. Below is a link to the agenda. http //www.meridiancity.org/news events.aspx?id=19031 Thanks! I spoke with you about this before my neck surgery two weeks ago regarding this matter. I feel that the City is expanding at an unmanageable rate. It seems as though every project presented is approved yet we are seeing Bond Measures and increased Utility rates to support this expansion. I feel these costs should be absorbed solely by the new developments, not the existing tax / rate payers. (With few exceptions) After speaking with a neighbors, it seems as though they did not receive proper notification of this development and pending meetings, especially those that live on E Pasacana. Half of them will have this project adjoining thier backyard. In the last seven years I've been asked to support crowded, poorly funded schools, roads, wastewater etc. Last year, we were even asked to avoid watering our lawns when the irrigation systems were secured for the winter. Public Safety and traffic is another serious concern. It seems as though there are more and more accidents evey day. It is unlikely that I will make it too this meeting tonight, however, I hope that my thoughts will be shared with the Mayor and City Council.
