Broadway Avenue, Ste. 102 Meridian, Idaho 83642 RE: Fairview Lakes Polaris School ( CUP -14-010) In regards to the above referenced project Fairview lakes would like to appeal the Condition of Approval 1.4 d. The design of the proposed parking configuration had been approved in all of the Fairview Lakes submittals to date. Fairview Lakes can appreciate the need for pedestrian connectivity and would like to propose a compromise and remodel the existing landscape island on the west side of the driving aisle coming from Fairview Avenue on the east side of Smoking Mountain Pizza into a pedestrian corridor that would tie theretail shops to Fairview Avenue. A pedestrian sidewalk was installed with the construction of Smoky Mountain and the remodeled sidewalk would be an extention of the pedestrian path to the north. The success or failure of commercial projects sometimes relies on providing adequate parking for our tenants needs. With the lose of the parking spaces on the east property line we can not afford to lose any aitional spaces.
