A meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday,
August 19, 2014, Councilman Rountree.
Members Present: Mayor Tammy de Weerd, Joe Borton, Genesis Milam, David
Zaremba and Keith Bird.
Members Absent: Luke Cavener, Charlie Rountree
Others Present: Bill Nary, Jacy Jones.
Item 1: Roll -call Attendance:
Roll call.

De Weerd: Okay. I will go ahead and start this evening's meeting. For the record it is
Tuesday, August 19th. I will start with roll call attendance, Madam Clerk.
Item 2: Adoption of the Agenda
De Weerd: Item No. 3 is adoption of the agenda.
Bird: I move we adopt the agenda.
Zaremba: Second.
De Weerd: I have a motion and a second to adopt the agenda as stated. All those in
favor say aye. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
(Councilman Cavener arrived 5:06)
Bird: I move we go into Executive Session per Idaho State Code 67-2345 (1)(b) and (f).
Zaremba: Second.
De Weerd: A motion and a second to go into Executive Session, roll call vote.
Roll Call Vote: Milam, aye; Bird, aye; Cavener, aye, Borton, aye; Zaremba, aye.

Item 3: Executive Session Per Idaho State Code 67-234.5 (1)(b)(f): (b) To
Consider the Evaluation, Dismissal or Disciplining of, or to Hear
Complaints or Charges Drought Against, a Public Officer, Employee,
Staff Member or Individual Agent, or Public School Student; AND (f)
To Consider and Advise Its Legal Representatives in Pending
Litigation
EXECUTIVE SESSION: (5:06 p.m. to 6:36 p.m.)
De Weerd: Okay. I would entertain a motion to come out of Executive Session,
Bird: So moved.
Zaremba: Second.
De Weerd: We have a motion and a second. All in favor say aye? Any opposed? We
are out of Executive Session.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
De Weerd: Motion to adjourn?
Bird: So moved.
Milam: Second.
De Weerd: All in favor?
MOTION CARRIED, ALL AYES.
