Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District (NMID) currently has a Land Use Change Application
on file and being reviewed. NMID will withhold further comment until finished with our
review.
There are (2) NMID facilities with easements that must be protected. The District's Creason
Lateral has an easement of sixty feet (60'); twenty feet (20') left and forty feet (40') right and
forty feet (40') left and twenty feet (20') right of centerline; facing downstream. The forty feet
will always be on the access road side.
The Five Mile Drain has an easement of one hundred feet (100'); fifty feet (50) each side of
centerline. These easements must be protected. Any encroachment without a signed
License Agreement and approved plan before any construction is started is
unacceptable.
Sincerely,
9dyMadsen
