ANNEXED LANDS AND TERRITORY;PROVIDING THAT COPIES OF THIS ORDINANCE
AND SAID LEGAL DESCRIPTION AND MAP OF SAID DE-ANNEXED LANDS AND
TERRITORY SHALL BE FILED WITH THE ADA COUNTY ASSESSOR, THE ADA
COUNTY RECORDER,AND THE IDAHO STATE TAX COMMISSION,AS REQUIRED BV
LAW; AND PROVIDING FOR A SUMMARY OF THE ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING
FOR A WAIVER OF THE READING RULES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN,COUNTY OF ADA,STATE OF IDAHO:
SECTION 1. That the owner of the lands and territory described land as evidenced by attached
Legal Description herein incorporated by reference as Exhibit"A"is within the corporate limits ofthe City
of Meridian,Idaho,and that the City of Meridian has received a written request for de-annexation by the
owner of said property,to-wit: Jose Aseguinolaza.
SECTION 2. That the Meridian City Council has found and determined that de-annexation of said
lands can reasonably be used for orderly development of the City of Meridian.
SECTIONJ8. That the City of Meridian may de-annex and thereby exclude property form. its
boundaries pursuant to Idaho Cade§ 50-225.
SECTION 4. That the City has complied with all the noticing requirements pursuant to the laws of
the State of Idaho,and the Ordinances of the City of Meridian to de-annex said.property.
SECTION 5. Pursuant to the findings of the Meridian City Council,the land use classification of
the lands, described in Exhibit"A"are de-ar hexed hereto based on the following reasoned statement:
The request to de-annex 0.42 acres of land currently zoned R-4 to consolidate the property with
the adjacent County RUT parcel to the south in exchange for easement to construct the off-site
portion of the collector street to Meridian Road consistent with ACND Master Street Map.
SECTION 6.That the City Engineer is hereby directed to alter all use and area maps as well as the
official zoning maps,and all official maps depicting the boundaries and the zoning districts of the City of
Meridian in accordance with this ordinance.
