Online Records Terms Of UsePlease be aware that any and all comments, letters, e-mail messages, or other documents submitted to
the City of Meridian are public records. With some limited exceptions, the Idaho public records law
requires that the City Clerk disclose public records in the City's custody to any person upon request. The
City of Meridian also makes many public records in its custody available through a publicly accessible
online database.
Some records available in the City's online database may be subject to the copyright law of the United
States (Title 17, U.S. Code). Among other things, this law generally limits the use of copyrighted material
to "fair use," meaning that it is not to be used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or
research. It is the user's obligation to determine and satisfy applicable copyright restrictions; persons
using copyrighted materials for purposes exceeding "fair use" may incur liability for copyright
infringement.
The public records available in the City's online database are provided for public use on the condition
that no user may utilize information contained in these records in an unlawful manner or for an unlawful
purpose. The City of Meridian does not certify the accuracy or reliability of any information in the online
public records database, and disclaims any and all warranties related to such information, including, but
not limited to any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The City of Meridian is
not liable for any damage or loss caused by the use of this information. The use of this information may
carry risks, some of which are unknown. Any person using or relying on information obtained from a
public record in the City's online database does so at such person's sole risk.
