It is my understanding that the parcel of land wasoriginally zoned as Low Office, and in 2017, the parcel of land was re-zoned R-4 multiuse. We purchased our home in the Lochsa Falls subdivision in 2012 because of the low density zoning. Having that changed in 2017 when there was already a lot of high density housing around the Linder and McMillan intersection was troubling because of the increased load on the already busy roads and schools. 2 Now, to hear that you propose to allow more high density housing to be built in this location is unacceptable, especially since traffic is already terrible during the morning and afternoon commute and school traffic. I have to question the wisdom of changing the zoning in the first place and now allowing so much more high density housing being built in an area that already has a lot of that type of housing. I believe that the only reason for allowing this project to go forward is because of the potentially higher of profits the developer can achieve...at our expense. I know we just had an election recently. Just remember that we voters have a long memory come the next election. Respectfully, Larry Smith 2119 W. Root Creek St. Meridian, Id 83646
