As a new homeowner in the Movado Village; I am writing in opposition of the Silverstone Apartment Expansion. I
attended a meeting Tuesday, November 12, in which many of the residents in the village expressed unanimous concerns
that you are aware.
One top concern, including myself, is the added congestion, traffic and safety of Movado Way and Overland Road. I
understand a study is being conducted for a traffic light which is all ready much needed.
Another significant concern is the potential decrease in my home's value because of apartment buildings and added
congestion.
The Movado neighborhood is a gre at place to live and I, for one, would like to see commercial buildings that would meet
our needs, such as a restaurant, gift shop,etc. and within walking distance.
I am in favor of new housing and building that provides homes and jobs to the people in Meridian. However, your
consideration that the impact this additional expansion will have to us living in the Movado homes is appreciated.
