Caleb,
Thank you for your work with us on this change. In reviewing your report with Todd and our partners a question came
up. There is concern with the 20 lot limit that was placed as one of the conditions of an extended cul-de-sac. Can you
explain to me how you decided to use that number? ACHD's policy of limiting such roads to 400 trips would be closer to
40 homes. I understand the 30 unit limit if there is no secondary emergency access. We would like to better understand
how you decided on the limit of 20 homes.
Best Regards,
Dean Waite

Todd,
Please find attached the staff report for cul-de-sac lengths. I’m in meetings this afternoon, but let me know if
you’d like to discuss before the hearing Thursday night.
Thanks,
Caleb
