Good Morning Rob,
In regards to your applications, I have some feedback from the Movado residents that I would like to share with you that
echo what you heard at the second neighborhood meeting on October 8, 2019 and many of the communications the
City has received.
The primary concerns are increased traffic and visibility of the apartments at the gateway into Movado.
Traffic – We are reaching out to ACHD to request that they evaluate the conditions at the intersection of Movad o Way &
Overland Road currently, and with the impacts of additional development. We will be asking for a traffic study to be
required. Would you consider ordering a traffic study now prior to the applications being heard?
Visibility – I spoke with Bill Parsons this morning to explore options that would potentially be acceptable to the City and
Movado residents. An option that could work would be to relocate the clubhouse/pool to where “Building K” is
currently located, increasing the size of “Building C”, creating more open space next to “Building C”, replacing “Building
M” with open space. Please note that design guidelines regarding the clubhouse will need to be addressed at some
point as well, but making sure that it is consistent with the Movado theme since it will be at the gateway to our
community is desired.

I can not speak for all the residents in Movado, but I believe the options above would be something that would make the
residents feel more comfortable with the proposed changes. If you would like to modify your site plan, I will send it out
to all the residents for review and we can address it at our next neighborhood meeting.
Thank you,
Jeffrey Hall
