Hello - I’m writing in favor of the proposed new apartment expansions at Silverstone being built by Dave
Evans. As a new homeowner to Meridian Idaho, I was initially opposed to the idea of more apartments and
then I attend the homeowners meeting last week where there were lots of opposition. However, after Luke
Evans spoke, I came to the realization of the need for more affordable housing that fits the aesthetics of the
Movado subdivision regardless of the potential, unknown, traffic impact. I enjoy the mixed use aspect of our
area vs. a rural subdivision with no character or purpose. Today, I would rather know that the vacant lot space
is being used for the benefit of the community now vs. the potential commercial development that is
unknown or potentially detrimental to our home values. I however, would ask you to consider a traffic light at
the intersection for safety and ease. I am confident that Dave Evans will build a project worthy of the city of
Meridian and add value to our subdivision. My wife and I are excited to be part of the future of Meridian, and
the greater Idaho area, and hopeful that are children will be joining us in here in this beautiful area in the near
