To whom it may concern:
As much as I look forward to having this plot of land developed it is
sad to see that the best anyone seems to be able to do is add to the
plethora of storage facilities being built (McMillan between Linder and
Ten Mile for example) and the unbelievable amount of town homes and
apartments. Yet I do understand that the need exists. I do object to
this project because the scope (~300 storage units, 2 office buildings,
and 16 residential town homes) really doesn't fit this community (Linder
to Ten Mile and Ustick to McMillan). I would welcome a community based
development that would enhance the living and life styles enjoyed by
those of us who live here. Storage units and town homes don't really do
that. It would be nice to see a park like development in appearance
that has single level or two story businesses (store on bottom and
apartment or something on second story)...maybe more along the lines of
"the Village" where you can walk and enjoy the wonderful surroundings.
Tress, grass, relaxing. A paved storage facility and town homes is
unwelcome in this particular community.
