Subject:Ustick/Linder storage unit proposal
To whom it may concern:
We are writing to express our concern and objection to the request from Chad Larsen to modify the development
agreement (Inst. #110031366, JJA Land) to allow for more storage units
and multi-family housing.
To my understanding, this has been denied previously. We request
that this be denied again and the development agreement currently
in place remain. This area of Meridian has been slammed with multi
family housing and storage units. We are so tired of Merid ian City
Council not regarding the citizens requests and countless petitions
to better plan the growth of the area. This needs to not be ruled by
the bottom line, but by smart planning.
There are already 3 storage unit facilities within a mile of this
proposed area. The amount of multi family units in the surrounding
mile blocks is already overwhelming the schools in the area.
We request that you please keep the current plan for a business
complex with professional offices. At the very most, a retirem ent
community on this corner would benefit the community much more
than another storage unit and 3 story apartments.
Sincerely,
Jonathon & Katy Finney
