PROJECT: Inglewood Place Subdivision AZ, CUP, PP H-2019-0090
Dear Sonya;
My wife and I have reviewed the submittals for the above mentioned subdivision. We are
the property owners just north of the proposed project (3020 S. Eagle Road). We have no
objections to development of the property but have concerns with the plans along the north 15' of
their development. We have a 15' easement along their north boundary for access to our back
property for the purpose of accessing our garage, corrals, field and pressure irrigation pump. We
have lived at this location for over 33 years and have used the easement for that period of time and
need to continue to use the easement to gain access to our back property. The garage and coral
and field access is used daily and the access along the development property is used during
irrigation season to access the pressure pump located in the southeast corner of our property.
During the irrigation season, maintenance is necessary for the pump and wet well. The pump
does not have 110 volt power and I find it necessary to take a power generator along with tools to
the pump and wet well for maintenance. Since my field has the irrigation pipe laid out and the
field is saturated, vehicle access via my property is not feasible and using the easement is
necessary.
The proposed subdivision shows our easement but the layout of the access road to my
property indicates that curbing and landscape buffer and landscaping will be installed along the
property line. This will prevent the use of the easement. In addition, some of the buildings are
located against the easement line and vehicle access along this area will be difficult. Thus we are
requesting the landscaping, berm and buildings be set back such that we can continue to use our
easement as we have for over 33 years. Thank you.
