Subject:Development on corner of Ustick and Linder
I writing to express my concerns with the proposed apartments and storage units on the corner of Ustick and
Linder. I feel this land could be put to better use. I live close to this location in the Bridgetower neighborhood
and my kids (and lots of others) ride their bikes through this area everyday to attend Sawtooth Middle School.
Single family homes seem like the best use of this land. Owners of single family homes are going to preserve
the safety and sense of neighborhood that already exists between the Watersong and Bridgetower developments.
Not to mention multiple storage units and apartments are currently being built with in 1 mile of this location. Do
we really need more? Also apartments will continue to over-crowd Hunter, Sawtooth and Rocky schools. New
single family homes would also add more students, but not as many. Storage units and apartments building have
their place and purpose, but I don’t want to see more built on this land. The land has been zoned for single
family homes and I would like to see it stay that way. Thank you, Kelly Nielsonl
