PZ - Applicant's Response to Staff Report1 Charlene Way From:Sonya Allen Sent:Wednesday, July 17, 2019 1:00 PM To:Charlene Way; Chris Johnson Subject:Silver Springs - Applicant Response to Revised Staff Report Please include in the project file. thanks From: David Yorgason <dyorgason6@gmail.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 16, 2019 9:58 AM To: Sonya Allen <sallen@meridiancity.org> Cc: Dave Yorgason <dyorgason6@gmail.com>; Todd Campbell <tddcampbell@gmail.com>; Joe Canning <jdcanning@baengineers.com> Subject: Re: Silver Springs Sonya, I spoke with the landscape contractor that currently owns and operates his business at 1157 E. McMillan. It was a good meeting and we went through the new staff report and all the DA conditions. He is agreeable to all the conditions except for the one that should not be a surprise, which is the 2nd condition in the DA relating to the timing when the sidewalk is installed along his McMillan frontage. In summary, we agree with all the conditions of approval in the revised staff report except for the following: 1. A.1.b: culdesac length not to exceed 450 feet o (we recognize this will be a discussion with City Council and P&Z cannot change this condition) 2. A.1.d: request home at 103 5 E. McMillan to retain 1 existing access and keep its address until such time it is redeveloped o we request this condition be waived by Council 3. DA condition #2: request condition be changed such that the sidewalk in front of 1157 E. McMillan be installed when phase 2 is developed. We understand the first 2 items may not be able to be changed by the P&Z Commission and might only be changed by the Council. We are hopeful that the P&Z Commission will change the last item regarding the timing of a portion of the sidewalk along the McMillan frontage. Please let me know if you have any questions.
