PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT / NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the Ordinances of
the City of Meridian and the Laws of the State of Idaho, that the City Council of the City of Meridian
will hold a public hearing at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, at
the hour of 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 for the purpose of reviewing and considering the
following applications:
H-2019-0049, City of Meridian for A Text Amendment to update certain sections of the
UDC pertaining to notification of violations and definitions in Chapter 1; residential dimensional
standards and allowed use tables in Chapter 2; ditches, laterals, canals or drainage courses; outdoor
lighting; outdoor storage; traveling living quarters; landscape standards; parking standards;
qualified open space and variance processing in Chapter 3; specific use standards for educational
institution, indoor shooting range, multi-family development and restaurant in Chapter 4; public
hearing, fees, variances and alternative compliance in Chapter 5 AND other miscellaneous sections,
by City of Meridian Planning Division.
H-2019-0034 Engineering Solutions, LLP., for a Text Amendment to create a new
residential self-storage use that includes a definition, specific use standards, and specifies
conditional use approval in the R-15 and R-40 zoning districts for Residential Self- Service
Storage Facility.

Department, 33 East Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho and is available for inspection during
regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Information can also

Copies of the above applications are available upon request. Any and all interested persons
shall be heard at said public hearing, and the public is welcome and invited to submit testimony.
Oral testimony may be limited to three (3) minutes per person. Written comments can be
submitted to the City Clerk at cityclerk@meridiancity.org prior to the hearing. All materials
presented at public meetings shall become property of the City of Meridian. Anyone desiring
