Please consider our written testimony for the May 16, 2019 hearing regarding the proposed Three Corners
Ranch development.
As current residents of Three Corners Subdivision, we oppose the plan to connect eagle road to locust grove
through Three Corners Subdivision. We oppose the connection as this has potential to drastically increase
traffic flow through our subdivision and increases safety hazards significantly for the residents and
children. There is also already traffic issues in relation to school traffic in the morning and afternoon commutes
with Ambrose school. Adding additional traffic to that with another very large subdivision could cause major
problems. There is also already dangerous traffic problems turning onto locust grove due to the single lane of
traffic patterns north/south. The L turn from Locust Grove already gets significantly backed up and many
people speed down the median to turn. Additional traffic only creates further problems.
Also, as a local first responder, I have responded on countless auto vs. pedestrian incidents through large
subdivisions with speeding traffic attempting to bypass stops along major roads. This opens additional potential
to non residents using our subdivision to bypass other traffic further creating additional safety hazards to our
children.
Thank you for your consideration.
