Subject: 3 Corners subdivision and 3 Corners Ranch ACHD, DO NOT CHANGE APPROVED PLAN PLEASE
To Whom it may concern,
I am a homeowner in the 3 Corners subdivision. This email is regarding the meeting on May 16th to discuss the
planned and approved new subdivision of 3 Corners Ranch, with the possibilities of changing the approved
traffic patterns. As a Mother of 4 children, 10 yrs- 3yrs, I am EXTREMELY concerned with the City of
Meridian’s desire to connect N. Sweet Valley Ave through to the Bristol Heights subdivision, N. Stafford Dr.
With my three oldest walking daily to along our current road (E. Townline Way) to the Ambrose School with
increased traffic poses significant risk to them, as well as the other children in our subdivision. The corner of
Locust Grove and Chinden is daily blocked up for any exiting of our subdivision, North or Southbound. The
line on Locust Grove waiting to turn West onto Chinden will even back up past the School’s property. I have
witnessed near misses of cars and children/parents many times, an increase of traffic flow would tragically
worsen the already exacerbated problem.
The Ambrose School is growing with each year that we have been attending (5 so far) and they have purchased
the land to the North of their current building. They have plans to build more classrooms there as well as offices
and other much needed areas. With this growth and development the traffic can ONLY increase.
PLEASE do NOT allow the full passage from 3 Corners subdivision to Bristol Heights to be approved.
Thank you for your time and please feel free to call my cell if you have any inquiries or needs.
