Re: Three Corners Ranch
Please consider this written testimony for the May 16, 2019 hearing in regards to the proposed Three Corners
Ranch development.
We oppose any plan that would connect Eagle Road to Locust Grove Road through Three Corners
Subdivision. The vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the entrance of Three Corners Subdivision is much more
congested than any other residential entrance along Locust Grove Road. In large part due to the Ambrose
School and the close proximity to the intersection at Locust Grove Rd / Chinden. Adding additional traffic
from Bristol Heights would be a severe detriment to the safety of the community and the children that attend
Ambrose School.
We fully support the ACHD approved plan to connect Three Corners Subdivision to Fuller Ranchettes. This
would add a limited amount of traffic to Three Corners Subdivision, but would not allow cut through traffic
from Eagle Road.
*Below is a picture of the congestion that occurs in front of the Three Corners entrance on a daily basis. This
picture is taken from the main Ambrose School entrance facing north towards the Locust Grove / Chinden
intersection. As you can see, the left turn lane traffic is backed up well beyond the Three Corners Entrance.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
