2019-05-02 Meridian Parks and Recreation Pathways ProgramChris Johnson From: Kimberly Warren Sent: Thursday, May 02, 2019 5:09 PM To: Bob Taunton Cc: shawn@trilogyidaho.com; Sonya Allen; Chris Johnson; Charlene Way Subject: Pathways Summary & Follow Up - Gander Creek Sub PP, AZ H-2019-0013 Hi Bob, Per our discussion earlier today, the following pathways will be required with development of the Gander Creek Subdivision: • A 10' multi -use pathway on the east side of McCrosson (mid -mile collector), extending north from the WASD property, across the Five Mile Drain, running eastward along the north side of the Five Mile Drain, and continuing north through Gander Creek Phase I to McMillan Rd. • A 10' detached multi -use pathway along the south side of McMillan Rd, from the proposed Glassford Way, east to the intersection at McDermott Rd. • Dedicate pedestrian easements for the above -listed pathways per original Conditions of Approval. • Though originally listed as a condition for development, no pathway will be required from the east side of Glassford Way at Five Mile Creek to McDermott Rd. Should the option for a grade -separated pathway crossing at SH -16 become a possibility in the future, the City will coordinate directly with Nampa Meridian Irrigation District. • To ensure future pedestrian connectivity (to W. Mattawa Drive) should the above pathway be constructed, the developer shall note on final plats that a future pathway is planned in the dedicated utility easements/open space at the southeast corner of Phase 5. Fence requirement clarification: The Five Mile Drain is not classified as live water, therefore no fence is required between the 10' multi -use pathway and the Five Mile Drain. Adhere to all UDC requirements for fencing type and placement adjacent to pathways as may elsewhere apply. Thanks for initiating this coordination meeting. Please let me know if you have questions or need further clarification. Regards, Kim Kim Meyers Warren, PLA I Pathways Project Manager City of Meridian I Parks and Recreation 33 E.
