Thank you for your email, it has been received by the Mayor's Office. We appreciate you taking time to share your
thoughts and comments with us about setbacks.
Because this project is part of an open application, our City Council members are prohibited from commenting outside
the public hearing. We take public feedback seriously and want you to know that we have received your email and have
read your comments. Your email has been forwarded to our City Clerk and will be included in the public record.
The Planning and Zoning Commission will discuss this topic further at the next meeting on Thursday, May 2nd at 6:00pm
at City Hall. The Planning and Zoning Commission meetings are held at 6:00pm on the first and third Thursdays of each
month in the City Council Chamber at Meridian City Hall. We invite you to check the City's website, meridiancity.org, for
additional information regarding the public hearing process and to attend the hearing(s) on this issue.

Reducing the setback and back yard of new homes is not in the best interest of Meridian. If a community or builder
wants too reduce the size of a lot it should be done on a case by case basis only. Not cart blanch for any builder. This
could create very crowded single family homes. This type of construction needs to be limited to multi -family units or
apartments only.
