Here's what they had to say: Request for Mayor and Council: Name: Gail Nussbaum _replyto: GailNuss@gmail.com Street Address: 3674 S Leanato Ave City: Meridian State: ID Zip Code: 83642 Subject: H-2018-0059 Please do NOT approve Message: Hello, as a resident of Meridian AND a Realtor, I want to respectfully request that the proposal H-2018-0059 for new R-15 setbacks be denied. The city of Meridian is desirable because of the current community. As a Realtor the one complaint I hear from buyers is that the homes are too close together. In addition, when a neighborhood is near land that can be developed into low density housing they have a right to expect the homes to be a little further away than 120 square foot patio in this proposal. It is important that Meridian maintain a minimum building setbacks to allow existing subdivisions to not be negatively impacted by this request. The current R-15 setbacks should not be allowed to be changed by a developer. As a resident and voice in the community I will absolutely be watching how the voting for this Proposal plays out and will use those votes to guide me when I vote in the elections.
