I had three concerns with the access of this particular development. First, was the Harris Street/HWY 69 access and the need for a signal at this location along with intersection improvements. The second was the proposed "full access" at the % mile mark halfway between Harris Street and Amity Road. The last issue being internal connectivity to the south of the proposed development so that it would connect to the future commercial property. This would allow vehicle trips to the commercial property to take place internally and not have to travel onto HWY 69 to access the business. After meeting with Laren and Jim they have satisfied all the my concerns and questions. I've been assured that Harris Street/HWY 69 will be improved when the traffic count deemed by ACHD and or ITD reaches a point that triggers the improvements. Second, that the % mile access will be a right -in -right -out only and NOT full access. Lastly, there will be internal connectivity to the southern commercial property. At this point I have no other concerns with this application. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me.
